Same here Nuthatch. The puddles, rivers and small lakes from melting snow have finally dried up - we had one day of rain which helped to wash some of the salt and grit off the roads - which was enough to break out the good road bikes this week-end. DH (aka Ace Bike Mechanic) tuned the bikes, making sure everything was in shape before we took them out and cleaned them until they were sparkling ... I needed my shades just to keep from becoming blinded by the shine!

All winter I've been gazing at my 5200 reliving the great rides we've been on, remembering how much I loved getting out for my daily rides and thinking spring. But it wasn't until I clipped in for the first time this year and got that first mile on the odometer that I realized how much I love that bike. I love getting out on our local trail and on my mtn bike and fitness bike ... but geez do I love that road bike!
