    BRAG lite - some firsts

Lots of firsts for me this week:

first new road bike since college (and I am cruising into 50 this year)
1st Bike Ride Across Georgia (2 of us did 3 day option - 3 of the group did all 6 days - they are amazing)
58 miles day 2 - longest ride so far for me
150+ miles over three days - I had no idea I could do that!
first time camping in many moons
first fall over crash at a rest stop - a nice EMT came over and cleaned up my road rash for me. I am such a klutz sometimes.

we met lots of great folks on the ride. I look forward to their fall tune-up weekend - at least the tents don't have to move every night! (although it was good practice of old girl scout skills)

And everyone wanted to know where I got the Team Hill Slug jersey! Some good plugs for TE!
It's all about the journey (my reason for riding slower)

Wow, congratulations!!! That's a lot of miles in 3 days- plus you had to sleep in a TENT! You're a better (wo)man than I.
