I also use Trainingpeaks.com - I get a subscription through my coach. It gives us another way to keep up communication. It is very powerful - I have yet to use all of the features.

GLC - I see you are in Greensboro, NC. Do you ever come west to ride in the mountains?? We have so many great organized rides here - as well as lots of data online for routes if you want to do them whenever. I just finished the Assault on Mount Mitchell - it was awesome!!!! Let me know if you ever come out this way. Bouncybouncy is also here (Laurie)

    Hi Debi!

I haven't been down your way to ride yet. I do aspire to do Mt. Mitchell, but I'm don't think I'm quite ready yet. I desperately wanted to do Blood Sweat and Gears up here next weekend, but my schedule is not cooperating. Most of my NC mountain adventures have been in the Boone/Blowing Rock area. In fact, mid-July, we'll be climbing Roan with a group of friends. I really do want to get down the Asheville way soon though! I promise to get in touch if I can make it happen! Perhaps this fall?!

    My tracker

I have a garmin forerunner and use ascent to download the data. I have the HRM and cadence monitor. (Also works for any other activity as long as you are moving.)http://www.montebellosoftware.com/index.html

I have also used excel spreadsheets that I set up for whatever event I'm training for to keep track of mileage goals.

It can be that you spend more time tracking your miles etc than you do logging the actual miles. The Forerunner makes it easy.
