    Smile Another Emily!

...and a Tarheel (Go Heels!) and a cyclist! Hi Em, I live out in the Orange County boonies, near Efland. Graduated from UNC in '83 so am quite a bit older than you, but I just wanted to recommend you take a look at the Carolina Tarwheels bike club (www.tarwheels.org). They are a great group and have rides most every weekend from the beginner level up to much faster than I can go. My husband and I ride with them when we can and also ride together. Orange County has some great cycling once you get out of Chapel Hill (traffic).

Welcome to the TeamE forum too - great bunch of women!

    Welcome

Welcome to the board Tar! I agree with Jo - I'm not usually here this late at night coz I'd rather check this at work - since I have to sit at a doggone desk Anyway, and I spend waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more time here than I do working. Oops!!! Glad to meet ya and hope to chat with ya again soon!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
