As for goals, I'd like to:

1) Beat The Boy (a definite in the swim, but may be compromised in the bike/run as he has been known to be uber-competitive and I'll admit is a tad bit stronger than me, at least in the cycle)
2) Beat all or most of my climbing buddies who are racing this with me (in particular one gal I get a bit competitive with, I am a better cyclist than her but the swim and run may be dicey)
3) Run the 5K portion in less than 30 minutes.

No overall time goal though, and I'm in a younger age group so I think my likelihood of placing at all is exceedingly low, especially because I'm a new runner and a marginally new cyclist.
