You keep making me think I need to do one of those "things".

    Wahine-what a cool chick

You will do well on the 1/2 on the 23rd. Are you aiming for a top spot in your age group?

V-you can do an enticer tri! Ok, that's the term Tri WA gives them...300m swim, 10km bike ride 3km run..easy peasy!

YOu could however do the bike leg of an Ironman as part of a team..Easy 180km for ya. (Easy 180km bike leg in Western Australia for our Denise in Dec 08 )

( maybe I can be you in my next life.. can I? can I? pleeeeeease?????)

Pika - no you can't be me. I'm still using me. And to be honest, I'm not sure you'd want all my worn out parts by the time I'm done with them. But you don't need to be me, you're great just the way you are!! I know that first hand!!

KG - sick part is, my legs weren't any more sore than they are after any race, in fact I felt good enough to go out for a very light run yesterday and I'll do a transition workout tonight

It's all about having a lot of base to draw from... about 11 years worth in fact.

Thanks again everyone!! I appreciate all your feedback.
