I'm certainly counting indoor miles although I think purists don't. This fall I'm going to try to ride later in the season but there are daylight/safety concerns for the daily commute that the mommy in me just balks at. I set goals, especially indoors, because it's so boring and I need the cardio work. I just try to enjoy when I'm riding outdoors and it seems like my mileage is always higher (than indoors) each week because I'm having fun! Trying to keep my OCD tendencies under control!
