Thanks Denise. I think the later chart you describe matches these Nike. Just holding them in my hand I know they are a womens 6. I found a new pair at the local shop and I need a "39" I can wear 6.5-7.5 but typically wear a 7.

I am pretty worried about going clipless. I love reading all the advise. I road for 45 mins yesterday in heavy winds. I did pretty good for a beginner. Thanks to all for the encouraging posts.
