Away from Her - Julie Christie - The power of love when a man has to cope with his institutionalized wife (five stars!)
A couple of Ryan Gosling films
Fracture with Anthony Hopkins (at the theatre) - a young lawyer tries to take on a brilliant aerospace engineer in court, a "psychological thriller"
The Notebook (Netflix) - A story of young lovers as told by a man reading to a woman in a nursing home
Movies I have enjoyed in the last few months:
- The Life of Others (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0405094/)
- The Namesake (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0433416/)
- Sophie Scholl. The last days (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0426578/)
- Marie Antoinette (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0422720/)
I agree that Idiocracy was very good!
We watched Night at the Museum last. I was slightly disappointed. It just wasn't that funny and I like the stupid comedies.
Last movie we saw in the theatre was "Black Snake Moan". It is very interesting, definitely not kid friendly.
