A 20 lb steel bike for $65? Cool! Have fun, and I hope your health and the weather are good for screaming down the roads this weekend.![]()
Sweet! Happy riding and bonding with your new bike!

Is that considered heavy for a road bike btw??.....compared to Baby, he feels like nothing - I was surprised he weighed in at 20 coz I sure thought he was lighter. Having no basis for comparison - enquiring minds want to know!Originally Posted by aka_kim
PS: can you tell he's already let me know what sex he is........didn't want to go into the bike rack next to Baby with all her packs and lights and big tires. All I could think of was a young stallion trying to show off for the mare!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
Here he is - not the greatest picture but it IS late at night and I really Should be in bed! But I couldn't sleep without trying to at least show him off! You can't tell from the pix but there's a label on the chain stay that says "made in France" and all the rest of the labels are in French. The shifters are on the stem which I"m not sure I'll like - but will keep them there until I can Really get him out and ride!!
