Well, we've got the Naked Rambler who's always getting arrested for wearing nothing but a rucksack

Somehow I think I'll definitely be giving this event a miss.

We've even got a local event! Too bad I'll be out of town for my diabetes ride

    Date: Saturday 9 June 2007
    Time: 9am meet, 10am ride
    Location: McPherson Square, Washington, DC

(Tentative information – check website for details)
    [Edit] Information

We are holding the second WNBR in DC, June 9th 2007.

Last year went very well and we again have all the required permits!

Meet at McPherson Square, convenient to the Metro, between 9:00 am and 10:00 am.

We will be riding past the Capital Building and the White House! Will have body painting in a screened off area and snacks.

I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

Well, the World Naked Bike Ride made headlines: CNN.com. No mention of the DC version in local news, though.
"How about if we all just try to follow these very simple rules of the road? Drive like the person ahead on the bike is your son/daughter. Ride like the cars are ambulances carrying your loved ones to the emergency room. This should cover everything, unless you are a complete sociopath."
David Desautels, in a letter to velonews.com

Not me - no way. I am afraid to ride and be seen in cycling shorts.

Over here in the UK it's very tempting to cast off every stitch of clothing as we're having a glorious day...but somehow I think I'll give it a miss
