That's crazy, Anne! I just tried a bunch of online calculators per your note here, and you're right: they do match up.

In that case, I wonder if I shouldn't be eating more... Might explain my severe energy dip every afternoon!

I was on WW two different times over 20 years and did well on it both times (losing 30 lbs)but discovered it didn't take care of my root problems which were sugar and carb cravings. (I have an extreme tendancy to eat very little protein and a lot of carbs.) Now I have reversed that and feel way better.

After gaining 20 lbs back due to starting a 2nd job, I quit the job, started exercising and started the South Beach diet which I love,
I am down 18 lbs and am able to control my carb consumption much more. Also I discovered through starting South Beach that I am allergic to all wheat and oat products. So an even better benefit on top of ithe weight loss is my breathing is way better and I can climb hills way faster on my bike than I could last year

raw organic vegetarian..not a diet. it's just how THE LORD told us to eat.

Genesis 3:18 "and thou shalt eat the herb of the field"
Genesis 3:23 "Therefore THE LORD G-D sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground whence he was taken."
Genesis 4:2 " but Cain was a tiller of the ground."

    Counting calories.

Using sparkpeople and just logging what I eat, and being aware. It's amounting to portion control sometimes, and more or less just eating what I want. I'm amazed at how well it's working.

Which explains why scarfing huge handfuls of Peanut M&Ms has always seemed like somewhat of a religious experience!
