Hey there. Do to my husbands mid life transition we are biking across the country. I just started training a little over 3 weeks ago and doing better than I ever expected. Of course this is a full time event for me right now and I am following the plan laid out for me, eating the right foods, etc. I am surprised at how well my body is responding and I am sure you will do great. I hope this will be something I will c ontinue for a long time. It's beautiful out there and when you get bored, just sing some silly songs.
