No ride today, job interview! And I think it went well.
But I did go to the gym after for some upper body stuff.
It's hot as hell. I bought a kiddie pool that I'm going to go sit in later

Do keep us posted on the job. I'm glad it went well. Did they give you a math & spelling test?

    No math or spelling test
This is a pretty small clinic and whoever gets this job would actually be assisting in surgery! I can't believe they wouldn't hire a vet tech for that, I'm sure its because they're too cheap. Along those lines though, I think it was a plus for me that I recently had two semesters of anatomy and dissection experience.

They were shaving a very matted Persian cat while I was there. Poor thing. Her fur was so matted it came off in sheets. would've made a good toupee for Donald Trump.

I slept in to use some "use it or lose it" vacation hours and then rode to work. Yesterday I got in 68+ miles between the commute and then a "pre-moonlight-ride because it will probably rain" speedy ride, and then the moonlight ride because The Weather Goddess (me ) asked the clouds to depart.
The garage looks very big and empty without the car. Will I miss it? Not yet. Big Brother called and it got him bakc to MD safely, where he will be turning it into a taxicab over the weekend to replace his aging Honda.

Been doing some short rides everyday for about 3 days now; today I went with a friend in downtown Nashville. We went to Radnor Lake and went down this cool hill- we reached 38.1 mph!

A grand total of 24.82 miles.
    I enjoy it all.

I didn't commute yesterday, because I thought it would rain (it didn't until night), so I did yoga and took a 2 mile walk. I needed my car today, so I decided to take a short ride when I got home. It was about 88 degrees and humid; you could tell a bad thunderstorm was brewing. I was wasting time when I got home, but i made myself go. I did SheFly's TT route, with the additional miles from my house. It was really hot, but I felt pretty good. My average was 15.6 for 15.3 miles and that was with going up the steep side of my street. Within five minutes of me arriving home the skies opened up and it is still raining and thundering.
I wanted to make 1,000 miles today, but I am about 36 miles short because of the weather. I am supposed to lead 2 rides this weekend, but both could be cancelled because on and off showers are predicted. Well, I'm still ahead of last year...

Just rode around town doing some errands this morning, and got a flat tire on the way home. It was hot and humid today--yuck!
