Oh, I don't know about that. I think we could be the TE Personal Shoppers and help all the folks who are ambivalent about various bike/apparel/equipment purchases.

OTOH, if the two of us go shopping together, we might encourage each other to spend a LOT of money. Now that could be very dangerous indeed!

Sorry, BikerZ for the slight thread hijack.

Let's see if I can get this back on track...That Seven is sure pretty! Where's its next major ride going to be?

I am green with envy Z!!!!

I swear when I get better I am going to get me one of those. Plus, the bonus is that Seven is made here, right next to the town my college kid lives in so I can go and catch it's progress...aaaahhhhh, a dream!!!

Thanks Karen - so, which one would you get? Steel, Ti, or the Ti-Carbon? I'm jealous you live nearby - I think it would be so cool to see the frame building in progress!

She is absolutely georgeous!!! When you need replacement tires consider these in red: http://www.teamestrogen.com/products.asp?pID=13372

Red Scwalbe Stelvio, its a great tire (i use them) and will look great on your bike to bring out the red accents.

    Z;

Always had my eye on the Axiom, and I am a carbon fanatic. WHEN I build mine there are two little pictures I want to go on the down tube. A shamrock and my walker that I know I will have given up by the time I get me that bike.

    Wanna buy a used one??
BikerZ (and my own DH with his new ID8 that he absolutely LOVES) has got me pining for a custom. I'm still torn b/t an Axiom and the ID8. Still, I'll be selling my Signature Size Axiom frame/fork/headset/stem (rest of the parts would transfer over to the new ride) to finance my dream.

    re: new 7

Gorgeous! enjoy your beautiful new ride, BikerZ!
I got my Seven Elium a few years ago...dream bike still...just love it and know that you will too. Many years of wonderful miles to you on yours!

Also, you mentioned something about being envious since you don't live near Seven's hq, so I wonder if you didn't use the "where's my frame" link on Seven's website for new owners to follow their bike's design and build process? I was on there every few days, eagerly reading about mine from specs being faxed in by my local 7 dealer to finally seeing the FedEx tracking number when it was sent my way...very interesting as well as exciting...

    Thanks Northstar and TrekHawk!

TH - Well, I'm signed up for 3 metrics this summer - the Holstein 100, the Healdsburg Harvest and the Siskiyou - will you be at any/all of these rides? When exactly do you head back to Australia?

Yay!!! Im signed up for the Holstein 100 but I might do the metric if I dont get in much riding over the school summer holidays. Either way I will get to see that lovely ride of yours - worth the drive just for that.

We dont have any exact dates for our return yet but we think it will be sometime in November.

If you are doing the MS150 I will get to see you at that too.

omg it's beautiful. I had been not wanting to look because I am experiencing bike lust for the Seven.

Wonderful bike! You're giving me incentive to play the lottery
