37.5 miles, riding with the spouse and Rick, our usual riding partner. We've been off the bikes for the last 4 days, as the MIL was in town. Since she's 81 years old, we had to show her a little excitement - she was a passenger in an autocross race (car racing in parking lots - VERY exciting!), and went on her first motorcycle ride!![]()
(Okay, so she and her son also played a lot of golf. But she's a tough old bird! And I caddied a lot - long story, but I broke my arm ski racing, and after surgery, and a really impressive piece of titanium added to my arm, so my golf season was over before it started. But the biking? As long as I wear my brace, I'm allowed to go as fast as my gears will carry me!)
It was a great ride today. Beautiful weather, great company, and just darn fun riding.
The boys are breaking out their TT bikes tomorrow, as we've got the Utah State TT Championships this Saturday. (A 35K TT with hills and a wicked headwind on the way out?Eeesh. Oh well, I guess that which does not kill us makes us strong....) My TT bike won't be in until Monday, so I'll be the chick riding a TT championship on my Gunnar Roadie! Wave as you pass me!

Aww well, I have been helping a lot of people move and I don't think my body will ever be the same. My back kills. Maybe I will just lift some weights tomorrow morning.
