    Thanks.

Registration opens at 7am on Saturday. (I'm leaving from my house in Sandy shortly after 5am)

So I will be there ready to ride at 7am...gotta enjoy a bit of the food.
I will meet whomever would like to ride at 7:15 in the least crowded area behind the vendor tents. I will pull out absolutely no later than 7:30.

I ride a red Specialized Allez with red and black handlebar tape. I have a blue helmet. I will try to remember to put on a TE temp tatoo somewhere on my person. Oooh, I know. I will not put my helmet on until the last minute. Look for me in this (I don't think there will be too many others there in something like this) http://www.sweatvac.com/Merchant2/me..._Code=WWStubby

If you are definitely going to meet up with me, please be sure to PM me. I don't want to leave anyone behind.

To answer someones question, I don't know how many people start early. I didn't last year and ended up in the mass of 1000+ riders who don't really know the rules of the road. So I want to avoid that this year. Well that and I need all the time I can use to get through the ride.

Yeah LRRH is just a few days away. I am sooooo excited.

    Where to go...

I am great with directions, but can someone tell me how to get to the park in Wellsville? Maybe the name of a business that is on the park square so that I can mapquest this? I'd like to have a map to get there from my home and a map to get there from my hotel in Logan. I will have a lot on my mind and don't want to think any more than necessary ride day!!

    Thanks -

Sulis - I will look for you behind the tents - now that sounds bad!!! Heehe. Don't wait past 7:30 for me though. I am a stunning tall brunette with an awesome body - oh, wait, I'd better not tell you that or you'll never recognize me I will try to post a picture or pm on to you. Cindy

There is a map on the website under the ride info. Wellsville is little. It's easy to find. There are no businesses on the square, but the park is Bowery Park.

    http://www.bbtc.net/

From last year's flyer for Logan:

South on SR-91 for 8 miles to SR-101
Turn right (west) go 1/2 mile
    Park is on your left

Thanks a million. I just downloaded the map. Do you know if you have to be present to win the bikes they are giving away at 7:50?

    "Expert"

Hehehe....I just checked and the sticker on my head still says green grass newbie. I can't read yet, so I still will be thinking of you, SadieKate, as an expert. One time there means expert, in my book!!!

I want to win a bike. Don't even think about winning it! Course, I never win anything.

I have new tubes, so watch out!
Totally changing the subject but the man at my LBS is late 50's and rides 300 miles per week WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bubba just received his Madison High reunion invitation (Rexburg). He's even on the cover with the other Whydaho science club hotties (of 40 years ago).

Mr. Flybye seeks Fishing Buddy- Little Red Riding Hood

My husband would like to know if there are any other men going to Little Red Riding Hood with their wives who would like to get away and fish with him for the morning while we ride.
He laughed and said "no thanks" when I offered him as a volunteer for ride stations. He even declined after I mentioned that there would be 1000+ women there in spandex. He really likes to fish! He also really knows where his eyes belong!!
PM us if you are interested. He is a great guy, 37 years old, pharmacist, fly fisher.

    Thanks - Mrs. Flybye

SadieKate - Is this a 40 year reunion for Bubba, or just a Science gig? Science Hotties!!! Did you mention that he is from Ashton? Our family has a cabin in Island Park, just up the hill from Ashton. Does Bubba fish? Hint, hint Chris (my hottie) will get a day license for Utah to fish.

Flybye- I'll mention your hubby wanting a fishing partner to Mr. Tater. He's not yet sure what he is doing while we are riding.

    Bear Lake & back

I'm dropping off my daughter (20) for the LRRH, then I'm riding to Bear Lake via Logan Canyon to visit a friend for an hour or so, then riding back that afternoon. It's ~80mi R/T with a beautiful climb. I'm old (50) and a bit slow perhaps (it's all relative, right?), but I usually don't stop (at all) on rides shorter than ~100 or so. I almost always ride alone, but I'm a bit nervous about local hostility to cyclists in view of the accident in Sardine Canyon earlier this month. Anybody looking for a nice ride while the ladies do their thing? I'm new to this group, so my sincere apologies if this is supposed to be a women's only forum. I think I signed up in such a way that users can reply to me through the forum. Thank You.

Hope to see some of you SLC gals at the Wednesday training ride too!
A little late to the flurry because I've been on the WHITE RIM! (report later)

I'm not riding this evening because I need a little break, but am planning on stopping by packet pickup at around 5:30 with my card and SadieKate's card in hand. Short, blonde, sassy, probably wearing light tan shorts and a blue or purple tee shirt.

The two ladies I was going to ride with have just cancelled. If I do the ride, I will be there Saturday morning. Is anyone else doing the 38 miles?

This will be my first time riding the LRRH.

I was planning on doing the 62, but I've ben riding so well lately that I'm going to consider the 100. I may decide it when I get to the split off for the 100.

The gals I'll be with are planning on getting on the road early.

I'd love to meet some TE ladies.

I'll be on a black Surly Pacer with a rear rack and black trunk bag. Not sure what I'll wear yet.

For those of you trying to decide metric or 100, remember that the 100 milers have a 20 mile loop up into Idaho from the lunch stop. They go through Lewiston, UT (the lunch stop) twice, so it is very easy to do an 80 mile loop. If you decide 62 is too little, 100 is too big, 80 may be ju-ust right. Oh wait, wrong fairy tale.
