terry falcon x/ selle italia SLK

I have not tried it but I am considering trying it (I am on saddle #4), which is getting frustrating at this point (not to mention expensive). Am also considering the Selle Italia SLK- but it looks like it gets too wide too fast (translation: chafe on thighs). Does anyone have any thoughts on these 2 saddles? (My bike is a high end performance custom ti bike so I am upright to the extent that I am riding on the hoods). The zero X is on the bike now, and its shape and length are ok but there is something strange about it for me, so I have to ride it again and longer than 70 kms (44 miles). In 2 weeks I am riding 100 miles on Sat. and 100 miles home on Sunday. Need to solve the problem before then.

I have the Falcon X as well. I like the cut out for comfort there. My problem now is that my legs begin to ache after about 12 miles. I almost feel like there's too much pressure on the inner part of my hips?! Does this make sense? I hesitate to lower the saddle because I'm tall (5'10" with 34" inseam) and that will mess up my pedalling...

the cutout looks kind of wide in the picture anyways, maybe more pressure is being put on either side of the saddle and your legs? Maybe I won't sell the Fizik Aliente so fast. The saga continues.

The "newer" model of the Falcon X has "Tribal Graphics" - a silver falcon emblem. Since it doesn't show when your butt is planted on it, I haven't considered upgrading.
I LOVE the Falcon X. I've got it on a road/race bike with aerobars, slightly forward position.
When I first got the saddle the split design (it is literally almost unconnected in the rear) scared the crap out of me because I'm a heavier rider, but once you get it on the seatpost a lot of the side-to-side flex goes away and it's just...nice. The cutout is smooth and large, and the power platform in the rear is right there. My other bikes have butterfly's and I'll be switching out as finances and priorities allow....

Love love love the Falcon X.
Brian, the worlds best LBS guy, ordered both the Falcon X and the Zero for me so I could seem them live and in person before buying. I chose the FalconX because of the wider cutout. It seems to be made for my sit-bones!

Even when you're not sitting on them the graphics are hardly noticable.
