I rode about 4 miles in the rain on my new Surly Crosscheck. There was a noise from the rear of the bike, which I think I narrowed down to the rack I put on. Attempted cure with electrical tape.

In fine Seattle High Fashion I wore black long underwear, cargo shorts, and wool shirt and jacket and helmet liner for my ride. Rain, a Surly, and long underwear sticking out from beneath your shorts... ahhh, bliss!
