I can't help thinking that if this were the 50's or 60's we would all be talking about a new dress, and not a bike
but I wonder how much different our conversation would be

I will have to remember that answer from Roguedog, in case I ever have an SO again

Of course it would be even better if the sex came first, and then hubby bought the bike as a gift. But maybe that somehow got lost in the exchange of a new frock for a bike.

Thanks for checking in on me, Regina. Sadly, the guy said it was taken. I had been e-mailing him and he was slow to respond and he finally told me that it had been taken. I guess it wasn't meant to be. Still checking out the CL daily. I noticed there was a Giant CR3 going for $500 which I know is a great bike but just out of what I was budgeting for a roadie.
