    Thank you SS - Quint41

    Hi Louise,

It was so great to get home from work at the end of a long Friday and find your package waiting for me. Thanks for all the yummy goodies from CT I'm especially intrigued with the chocolate covered potato chips, but will resist until after I have dinner! I love honey in my tea, so I'm looking forward to enjoying your local honey in my next cup. Every toothsome item is a hit! Thank you so much

    Thank you iFKA!

What fun to come home to a package from Croatia! You did an amazing job of finding fun "local flavor" that was lightweight, too! I love it all--and I'm wearing a lot of orange these days so with the socks I can now be color-coordinated. I'm going to make a cup of tea right now and pour it over ice, since it's still hot here.

    Thanks again, Ivana.

    thank you!

I wanted to thank Mountainchick publically too! The things from Japan are truly amazing and range from chocolate (can never go wrong there), to engrish, to dinnerware, to home furnishings!

It was such a surprise too. The box was heavy and I had to wait all the way home from the post office to open it.

Right now we're figuring out where to hang the lantern where the cats won't get to it! And the bookends (I'm telling you, Becki has everything covered!) are already proudly displayed in our livingroom. They're cats

    Thank you again, Becki!

It's come at last - via China, I think and being set aside as "extra-suspicious to be checked more thoroughly" at every single stop-over...

How do we ss's seem to telepathically find such appropriate things? It can't be just from reading the ss's posts.

MomOnBike has sent me a t-shirt with a gracious-looking sand-hill crane [I love birds] and "Nebraska" in nice letters on it. A *huge* box of things - chokeberry jelly [now how does she know I am a jam maker?], a sweet summery-smelling candle [ how does she know I like that kind of smell :"Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing thru the jasmine in my mi-i-i-nd ;60's left-over that I am], an amazing bendable wire sculpture of a bike and rider - even the hair is bendy so I have bent it streaming backwards like the rider is flying downhill in a headwind (a la Richard Virenque in the TdF in the late '90's).
And more...popcorn the whole family can share, a lippy balm all natural, a key thingy (so my key won't have to go topless, she says in a tiny note taped to it, lol. Actually several things had teeny notes on them)
Thank you MomOnBike - I was not worried as things sometimes take forever in the mail here; but I imagine you were.

All you need is love...la-dee-da-dee-da...all you need is love!

WOW! Just came home from a weekend being hubby's pit crew/fan club and found my SS package waiting for me. Inside I found a beautiful print of Tour of California riders winding along the most dramatic stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway during stage 4 of the tour. Special ordered, just for me. I LOVE it! It's heading straight for the frame shop. And California socks to boot! Need to do some detective work to figure out who this is. Thank you so much!

My face is red because it's taken me so long to thank my SS, SJCzar, for the fun package!! I was just sitting down here working on a shopping list, and think I absolutely MUST make the "Different Potato Salad" from the Beer Cookbook first chance I get!!! And the biking map really makes me want to branch out and check out your part of this great country of ours!!

Thanks so much, Sue! And Keep On Pedaling!
