Jeannie,
So glad to hear the great news that you are at home! I've been swamped unlike ever before these last couple of months doing a self-study Coastal Navigation class (sailing), so cycling has kinda taken a back seat in my life yet again. I couldn't even allow myself to come onto TE as I would spend time here instead of studying, so I had to go cold turkey -- this is my first post since March!! Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I had thought of you often, and really appreciated your sweet snail-mail note from early April.
Happily, I'm through with class now, passed the difficult exam, so I'll have more time for riding (and checking out TE!) again now.
Hope your healing continues to come along and that you'll be riding that beautiful new bike before too long. It does take TIME (and the patience of Job) to come back from a serious injury, and you had it worse than most, but I'm here to tell you that you will be back! I can hardly believe it's been two years since my accident, but I'm doing just great now, and you will be too.
Keep those spirits up and just take it a day at a time.
All the best,
Emily
