But, it is serisously getting VERY concerning, it's going to really start hurtin the economy.

This is a statement that I don't really agree with. Yes, gas prices are involved in the cost of nearly everything. However, in the long run, we will need to find alternatives. Besides, the economy does not really indicate the true costs of things, such as the environment, health problems caused by sedentary jobs.

Although money is the only way we have to compare apples and oranges, a dollar is not an apple, nor is it an orange.
