$3.29 for regular, on the west side of Boise. We have parked the 4-Runner in favor of bike commuting for me and taking the motorcycle for Mr. Tater. The only time the truck comes out is for a grocery run.

Here on BASE it was 3.60 and we are suppose to be cheaper then retailers in the civilian sector, not this time. Thank goodness we live on base DH bikes to and from work, I'm a stay at home mother, so anywhere Kaitlyn and I go we are just hoofing it now, put her in the jogger and we are off. I just pack the grocercies around her! I'm just sick though, we are going camping this weekend and we will HAVE to fill up and that's going to be at LEAST $70.
But, it is serisously getting VERY concerning, it's going to really start hurtin the economy.

Gas is $3.19 per gallon here for regular - $3.50 for premium.

I had to travel over the weekend for work, and have a 70 mile roundtrip commute with no possibility of a bus

I get a per mile reimbursement, but with gas like this, it doesn't cover much more than gas (e.g. wear and tear on the car). I did 473 miles for work on Sunday and Monday (to the Bicycle Inn for a hearing). That's a lot of gas, even in my small car

$3.79/gallon for premium, which I have to use. Luckily I only drive a few miles each day and do the bulk of my commute on Bart or bus.

This is a statement that I don't really agree with. Yes, gas prices are involved in the cost of nearly everything. However, in the long run, we will need to find alternatives. Besides, the economy does not really indicate the true costs of things, such as the environment, health problems caused by sedentary jobs.

Another central Illinoisan here. This morning, I paid $3.34 a gallon. Cost me $46 to fill up my tank. These gas prices are killing me. I have an 80-mile roundtrip commute to work five days a week and no possibility of public transportation.

I noticed $3.19 for premium, which is what I have to use.

I would bike more, but there is no safe route for me to travel on bike to my work, which is only 8 miles away.
