Have to hide from the sun as much as possible

I love riding my bike, but the sun does not like me. I have been searching for light weight knickers with light padding, have a Canari pair now with gel in them, yuck when it gets sweaty and find the padding in most shorts overkill and very uncomfortable. I also am looking for some long sleeve light weight, bright jerseys or shirts in a moisture wicking fabric. I have been searching the web without much success. Any suggestions are most appreciated.

I live in Texas and bike all year long, no matter if it is cold and hot to very hot.
About sunprotective close for outdoor sport like cycling there is not much out yet, and if, this things are to baggy. There where different threads about sunprotective covers. I have a very nice longsleeve cycling jersey from Jaggad it's called Solarace jersey, you can check it out at Bikemania.biz, and TE just got in a Canari jersey which goes under sunprotective... it is still limited choice but in time people are more aware to protect themselves from the sun...

michele, curious as to how those tights work out. they seem like they'd be hot on the warmer days unless they are really, really breathable..
