Wow!! What a ride! My brother-in-law and his stoker somehow missed the message that the DD was an re-routed due to the fire and did the original loop with only one rest stop and $8 to buy food and water.

Did Paul ride it with Cat?
V.
Veronica: He rode with a buddy from Truckee this time, Conrad.
CindySue: Paul is my husbands brother. Janet is a very cool sister-in-law though. She's an amazing rider too, and I like that she's not super competitive like Paul & my DH.

yep
I've briefly chatted with Paul and Janet on a few clifbar/luna events. Most recently I saw them both at Grizzly Peak. I rode with Paul for - oh - about 5 minutesbefore he and another guy picked up their pace. I'm really blessed to be involved with the program - so many fantastic and genuine souls at Clifbar
That reminds me - I picked up a tip during Grizzly from Lisa the Clifbar yoga instructor: at the rest stop - squeeze juice from orange pieces into your water bottle for a refreshing taste to your water![]()
