    Craft

    I have Craft - I think Master shorts - around $80 with a blue chamois. They are great. I got a medium - I am 5"1", 135 pounds and wear a 10 in pants.

The fabric is pretty silky and stretchy. Not nearly as tight and compressive as a shebeest medium (I have the Sheebeest Pedal pusher). Definitely thinner fabric, not really supportive, but great for hot weather. At first I though I had ordered the pedal pushers too small, untill I realized that after riding in them I always felt good the next day beacuse the Chamois didn't move.

I think the Craft shorts are great for a long ride, but I did just order the Sheebeest D shorts ($116 oh my!) for the century ride I am doing in a week or so.

I also bought Sugoi evolution shorts, but made the mistake of ordering a large – WAY too big, but I didn’t really realize it until I wore them on a long ride, and then it is too late to return them.

I think I own about 6 pairs all different brands and sizes!

    Me too.

I'm also looking for a good, comfy century short. Can someone offer fit info on the Performance Ultra and Elite and Castelli YPro Donna? I'm 5'4" and weigh 140-ish, wear a size 8 pant. I'm tired of the order-and-return game -- sometimes I wear a medium, sometimes I have to wear a large.

    Thanks!

I like the Performance Elite. I'm 5'3", 130 and take a medium. just the right amount of compression (for me) and they come in a nice blue or your basic black. As a matter of fact, I'm ordering another pair today!

Either I got the wrong size Elites or my seat angle needs tweaking.

I start feeling a camel toe creep after only about 10 miles, they don't seem as tight as I'd like and the waist height can only be compared to Fred Mertz.

It seems i've lost some weight since increasing my road miles

Looks like I'm gonna have a collection of sizes too.
