    First day of spring

on Sunday, and the first time I've put together 30 continuous miles (I've only had my bike since end of January, a newbie, this was my 3rd group ride) so high five! What a gorgeous day...tulip trees and jonquils blooming, horse farms, birds chirping, 75 degrees and just overcast enough that you didn't need your shades.

Wooohooo, how perfect can it get? Hope spring comes to the rest of us soon!

I sooo want to ride :-(

I'm with CorsairMac.. except my lungs are going to the UK Lung Association

The worst is .. we had a tandem delivered on Sunday, and I've been too poorly to even sit on it I'm spending this week working really hard on getting better so we can ride at the weekend, I find it so hard to not be doing anything all day, but it's working, I'm recovering quicker than I normally would (when I carry on working, shopping, cleaning blah blah blah )

Pleeease let this sunshine last through to weekend

    Ot

Off Thread: How much longer are you in England Snappy? (hopes I remember right that snappy is moving to Aus?)
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Welcome to Alabama, where a heat wave starts in May and generally goes through September. Plenty of 90+ days and 90+ humidity.
