I have never been a fan of haiku, because I always wanted a little more than 17 syllables can usually deliver.

However, I am well impressed by this thread... some great images here.

...and Kit, your "linked series" is just fantastic.

To ride is to be

Taste the morning air
the cool touch of eve'ning air
the scent of farm fields

We don't commute, we
make a journey, twice a day
A little venture.

In our own zen way
we do it just to do it
for the joy of it.
