Sixty kilometer romp on "Vee" through the rolling farmlands of Central Saanich, finishing off downtown at the harbour. Silly season (once known as tourist season) is fully underway; today only three cruise ships in berth. Yesterday, five ships disgorged 10,000 tourists into downtown Victoria. Yikes. It's only mid-May...
