Shot & Movie NightOriginally Posted by Irulan

The best way to deal with them was to come home, tuck myself into bed by 6, Bubba would fix me a bland dinner (which means no triple pepperoni pizza), then we watch movie. When the chills and fever started, I would, hopefully, be distracted by the movie. I had to stay in bed and not exert because any temperature change would trigger the chills. Even getting up to go to the bathroom would start them.
Thankfully, the side effects have been very minor for about the last 3 weeks. I'm still not ready to test the waters with normal activity levels (like a bike ride), but I have been able to delay the shot so what few side effects I do have can be slept through (with Tylenol PM) and I've even been able to knit all evening. This is a HUGE improvement. I think a few more weeks of this and I may even try being a bit more active. I did discover that the lingering effects on the following day can be chased away with a bike ride -- imagine that!![]()
