They would also understand that its more bike, afterall these guys are cyclists too.
+1 ... I went for a 2005 instead of a 2006 last year for the same reasons.... my bike has ultegra/dura-ace and the new model had 105's and was more $$... it was a no-brainer as well

Either way, you'll have a really nice bike make sure you post pictures when you decide!!
