I used to wear whatever I could find...especially jerseys that were semi-girlie, but not too much. Now, I just pull out the team kit every time I get on the bike. It drives my DH (who doesn't ride normally) crazy when he goes with me on my active recovery days and I put the kit on!

I have my own club's jersey (http://www.chickscyclingclub.com/) and I'm very happy to wear our sponsors' logos because they're all very very nice to us. (I just with the bike shop's logo was bigger - these guys are awesome.)

I also like to wear other women's clubs/teams jerseys. I love my VeloBella's jersey. I also have a PedalQueens jersey but it runs really big for a small *sigh*. They both have a few logos on them but it's rather subtle.

I wouldn't wear pro teams (Discovery et al.) jerseys though. Some may find it inspiring for themselves. I would be totally uncomfortable in them, for symbolic reasons...

My only problem is that I have two jerseys from my club from our past sponsor, whom I'm not so proud to wear. I might wear them to ride out of town, I'll see...

Our sponsors don't care too much how fast we are riding as long as their name gets out in the community..... we are expected to wear the team kit for all our riding, not just when we are racing. The only time I don't put mine on when I'm riding is if I take the utility bike out for errands - then I just wear street clothes.
It does save on having to try to find jersey's that I like and fit me... my ex-favorite was Canari, but I don't really see any of the nice abstract patterns that they used to offer. I have some great Canari jerseys in storage that fit me perfectly and look like marbled paper (they were called "swirly girl"..)
