To my defence, your honour, I'd like to state that my hands were gripping the brakes at all time, I would never wheel faster than about jogging speed, there were no cars around (residential area) and in case of losing control I was prepared to grab my son in both arms and then fall over.
So I think I'd be the one to crack a shin, actually. Didn't stop us getting some very startled looks.
Sure was a good way to work on balance!
