The LA Tri Club has clinics, usually around Santa Monica or Redondo Beach. I don't know if you're ever that far south. Their Ocean 101 on Wednesdays is pretty cool.
Perhaps there is a similar club in Central CA?

Open Water Swim Clinic in CA?

Does anyone know of any good open water swim clinics in California?
It occured me that I've never really swam in the ocean
and if I hope to do a couple ocean swim triathlon's in 2008, then I might want to spend some time in 2007 learning to swim in the ocean.
