My current most-beloved grease is Pedro's Syngrease. Comes in a 3 oz squeeze tube (or a 16-oz tub for us grease-aholics!). If all you are going to do with the grease is grease pedal threads, then Philwood is fine, but I think Philwood is too thin for bearings. I've had it wash out of hubs quickly in mild rain so I swore off it decades ago (but I still have 1/2 a tube that I use on pedal threads and to grease seatposts and cables).

But I still mourn the demise of Campy grease.
Oil is good, grease is better.

Oh yeah - that Pedro's is fun to use. I like the little knobby thing that expels the grease from the tube!!

We have also used that green stuff. It is nice, too and as I recall it smells nice.

I was gonna say something about how I like the way it smells, but didn't know how to phrase it.
