I just got back from the store to get grape juice (apparently it helps hit viruses even more than orange juice for instance). I took some theraflu, I got some fresh ginger, chamomille tea and some garlic tablets.

I love Douglas Adams. I need to read those books again. I've been taking it pretty easy the last two days. I haven't been able to bike or run. Work and other errands prevented me from it. Overall I feel okay right now, I just feel symptoms coming on. So it is rather early to panic, I suppose. If I do get some rides in, I'll take it easy and try not to stray too far from home in case I get zapped.

I've only got 211 outside miles, spin class time and a little running in. I'm just antsy about somethings. There never is a GOOD time to become ill, I guess.

Thanks for your well wishes and advice! I may not be whooped yet. We'll see.

My hubby and my son both had a tummy bug the other week. I didn't get it

For colds (if I can spell this right) Echinacaea is supposed to be very good. It helps you to get over the cold and also helps to build up your resistence to catching colds
There are a lot of unwanted, unloved bikes out there - go on give a bike a good home

Lots of times your resistance will fight the bug off while your close family/friends get sick. maybe you will be lucky. Don't worry about it so much!

    What works for me...

    Loads of Vitimin C

Wash hands often, always always before putting them near your face

Have your own cup you drink from

and the toughest bit... no kissing...

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".
