    sheesh.....

I will sleep on the ground, and go in the woods, and eat bugs in my camping food and ride in the mud....but ...

I WILL NOT PEE IN THE SUIT!
AH yes, I remember this chant... I said it too when I started SCUBA diving.

I said it until I got in cold water in my wetsuit... the first time out I peed in the wetsuit. Warm and cozy!

Of course, it's kind of hard to pee when you are swimming... SCUBA diving you can pee while you are drifting along in a current.

Take it from someone with about 6 different wetsuits for all possible occasions. I am a wetsuit veteran.

Do not pee in your wetsuit if at all possible. It makes the neoprene stink somethin' fierce.

Now the reality is.... you will pee in your wetsuit sooner or later. If you do, rinse it out really well and wash it with a mild shampoo. No need to buy the expensive wetsuit shampoo.

Hang to dry in well ventilated area but in the shade. Dry inside out. Make sure you turn it all the way inside out, if arms/legs are bunched up or twisted it will affect the seams and you'll be more likely to experience a wardrobe malfunction similar Janet Jackson's at the Super Bowl.

Good luck at your swim clinic!!! Have a good time, but stay warm (although that will be hard to do in 60 degree water- you're one brave soul ).

And yes, truth is that at some point you'll have to make your wetsuit a urinal. Happens to the best of us- like when you're in a race and you've hydrated sooo well that on the swim getting out and going is not an option. Or when you're in a race and the water is so cold that you're shivering- a little warmth (although kinda gross) is very welcomed.

Have a great time tonight- let us know all about it tomorrow.
