Hi all. How are we doing on our weight programs? I had to start this thread to let you know that I am now up to 21 pounds off since Christmas. I was out of town for two weeks completing a physicially and mentally challenging internship followed by a three day class where I had to do a two hour presentation---talk about stress!! The best thing that came from it was that I lost my appetite, and kept to my diet!! Also, spending the evenings mt biking helped - I had not been able to get on my bike since the weather here in the north got bad in November, but the two weeks in GA got me on my bike again.

I am almost down to my target weight, and feeling good. I hope all of you are doing well, whether it be gaining if you need to, or losing.

I'm here! 119.4 this morning. Whoo hoo - goal weight by month end is 119. I might make it.

I'm back on the bike pretty hard now so hopefulyl I'll lose the last 4 lbs faster.

Good for you for your consistent weight loss. Slow and steady is best for sure!

    Me, too, down again...
184.5-185.5 the past couple days. Back on the bike after 9 days off because of my lung infection issues, but biked 10 miles in to work today and headed back home with groceries...
Yay! Now whether I'll feel strong enough to bike 50 miles on the Kokopelli trail each day for three days IN JUST 10 DAYS is anyone's guess... but today I feel good ...

    Everyone is doing awesome!

I am down as well. Apparently I have not figured out the "maintain" part yet. It was only a pound loss and that could simply be noise. My hips are down another 3/4" which is nice and I went down another bra size (YAY!) now my breasts can stop shrinking.

Keep up the wonderful work everyone.

Been hiding from my scale lately, but found myself curious today -- discovered I'm down five from whenever it was last I stepped on it, which is motivation to work a bit harder at losing more of the fifty or so that needs to get gone!

Hi everyone. Well, I am going to jump in here. I have been having a really hard time getting started back to good eating habits...but this week, for some reason, I have been able to start, so I'm going with it!

I have about 18 to lose feel healthy, and I would really like to lose about 28, truth be told.

I tend to do the all-or-nothing routine, up and down. This time, I REALLY want to try for only about 1 pound per week to really make sure it is all fat, no muscle, coming off. I am in training for a hard climbing ride in August, and I am telling myself that there is no rush. I want to stay strong for training and avoid the up/down cycle.

I pulled out the sheets a nutritionist gave me last year with my caloric needs, etc, and I have been writing it all down to make sure I am eating well, but still eating enough while dieting to avoid losing too fast and then shooting back up!

OK - this got long. Thank you for listening!

WoW! You are all doing so good!

Kano- way to go! Starfish, you can do it. It is tough at first, and writing down what you eat is essential, but after you get in the groove of good eating, it gets easier. I found that one key is to not have bad stuff around the house..

Bikingmomof3, I know what you mean about the boobs shrinking! I have lost two inches around my hips and chest and things are going a little south.....BUT, my tummy is flatter than it has been in years, and I LOVE that. I will just buy a better bra!

Cyclasutra - you rock! Keep biking, and have fun on your trip. I too have had a repiratory infection of late, but I haven't noticed any difference in it whether I bike or not - I just have to pace myself alittle more.

Thanks for sharing, everyone, it makes it easier knowing we are all in this together and are working to be healthier.
