Henderson Tri-Fest Ride with the Silvers

We took out silverson for his first group ride (Mr.s first tour too). Son's longest ride so far was 32, so we chose the 36 mile ride. We all had a great time. Total miles 38 at 13.3.

Henderson Kentucky is a pleasant town just south of us. For art lovers, it also has a museum with the largest collection of Audubon art.

Loved seeing pictures of you and your biking family. We have a bridge in Chamberlain that goes over the missouri river that looks just like the one in your pic.

    Share the Road jersey

Glad that you all enjoyed the pics.

I just got my Share the Road jersey. I love, LOVE, LOVE it!!!!! It's a kinda long story.

I've wanted one since our friend Sam was killed last October (everyone knows that story, right? ask and I'll link you if you don't)

Anyway, I couldn't find one so I ended up ordering these shirts:

    http://www.cafepress.com/sharetheroad.12075213 the tank top

    and the hoodie

Anyway, I saw some people at the Hilly with these Share the Road jerseys and asked them about it. I got an email later that week from someone but after my wreck lost track of them.

Anyway, the Shirts were made for the Ronald G. Repka Foundation. Ronald Repka was killed by a vehicle several years ago in North Indiana. His wife has created this foundation to promote cycling awareness and education. She is helping us by providing us info about how to get signs placed.

You can order this jersey from her for $60. I need to get her permission to give out her info (she does not have a website) And I don't know if this steps on TE's feet, cause I wouldn't want to do that. TE does have some share the Road socks. I got them from TE and I was wearing them on Sat too, just don't see them in the pics.

Finally, and I don't want this to be "in competition" with her either, but I'm going to have some more jersey's made up that will be specific to our friend. So I'd rather that you ordered from her.

Let me know if you want a jersey and I'll make contact and if it's ok, I'll PM you her email.

I really like the Share the Road jersey, but can't afford the price right now. When that changes, I will let you know and see if any more are available. In the meantime, I hope she sells a lot of the jerseys -- they are awesome!
