coming from Seattle, this is a significant journey (gas, time) for a bike ride.
I think Port Townsend is one of the most beautiful spots in the state.
Did you figure out how you were going to do your ride to Canada?
that's something I'd like to do too; take a train to Canada.

Here are two bike events happening in Port Townsend, WA. I just talked with the Rick Sepler who is running the FORT2FORT Ride and it sounds like they are planning to make it a really fun event. They have a local band playing and the local brewery has donated beer for 200 people. Both support great local organizations. Anyone here planning on attending?
