    Very sweet new bike!

That whole going shopping for one thing and coming home with something else...I can relate. We went to Chicago to pick up an inexpensive mtn bike for my SO, we came home with that AND my Trek 1500 WSD.

Congrats!! I did something similar a couple weeks ago. I went to Ladies Night at my LBS, thinking that I'd listen to the presentation (given by Trek) get some free goodies and MAYBE buy a pair of gloves or a jersey. Instead I bought my first road bike, a Specialized Dolce!!

Oooh, Tater, NICE! I bet you're enjoying that new carbon ride -- I test drove a Dolce, and while she was very nice (and I'd been kind of planning on one) she fit me a bit snug, and while her ride was lovely, what a difference!

Bob's is a nice shop -- that year of service deal IS sweet. George's (another LBS here, for the rest of you) does that too, and my bike guy (I hope his road rash healed nicely) suggested I make sure to abuse that little extra! He said I'd learn lots about my bike, besides getting all the adjusting done...

Hmmm, sounds like DH just got home, and grandboys are likely going to start waking up now, better go back upstairs!

Wow...that's one sweet looking 'tube holder'. Guess you still ended up with the tubes, right?

    Congrats!!
