I am looking for a sports bra that will give my mosquito bites some support but won't make me look manly in my jersey. The ones that I have squash me flat.doesn't take too much sqishin', either! I seriously have a flat chest profile. Not fun. Any suggestions? I'm not a vain creature, either, in case you are wondering

okay, i ordered this. i hate bras.
i totally know where you're coming from, it's really hard to find a good, fitted sports bra if you're not exactly "endowed." i finally found one i like at sports authority, it's called "moving comfort driLayr." it has cups, and no underwire (like i need a wire??? i'm a 36A!) after looking forever and not being happy with anything i found, i'm glad i just happened on to this one!

Thanks for the advice, I will check out Sports Authority - thanks a billion! I was laughing about the underwire - the only thing that we need a wire for is to make a breast shaped coilhehehehe.....
actually bras are no fun for the endowed either. the whole idea is annoying and stupid.
ps i'm not "endowed" just average
My mosquito bites hurt when I jog so I want them to be tucked away. I don't care if it makes my chest "manly". I have an ODLO top that is so tight if I wear it for a full day my b@@bs hurt. but during sports it feels good.

I have the opposite problem, by NO means am I BIG espeically after breast feeding, it just literally sucked the life out of them. But, they are still big enough that I'm looking for something to flatten me out a bit because when I put on my jersey DH is like.....can't you tone those down a bit![]()
I actually wear a running bra that is 2 sizes too small to squish them down, but it's so tight around my ribcage, and with my heart monitor on, forget it, I'm lucky I can breathe.
I commiserate with you, Flybye! I was faced with a similar sports bra dilemma. What I finally did was buy a sports bra that is WAY too big so it doesn't smash me down flat (and it doesn't take much smashing for me either!). I generally wear a 34A (which is usually too big) but bought a 36B sports bra...the biggest bra I have ever worn! Anyway, it still provides some shaping and a little support (not that I really need the support). And because the poor bra really isn't doing anything strenuous, I opted for an inexpensive Champion brand from Target.
I'm with mimitabby...bras are stupid!

I had been looking for one too; I'm basically a 32/34 A. Oddly I found one I like at K-Mart. It's their store brand. It also fastens rather than pulls over your head, which I get really tired of doing. You know, sometimes you just can't get the damn thing off.
I like this one:

Never underestimate what you might find at Targét (proper pronounciation: soft "g" and silent "t") or Walmart ("w" pronounced as a "v," silent "t").
I am a fan of moulded cups to avoid the uniboob. Just never put them in the dryer, or they'll bunch and deform.
geez, Jenn, tell DH to deal with it. It's not good to compress your ribs
especially when you are exercising. Look into some of these support bras they make for athletes. Please throw away those too tight bras. Remember how ladies used to faint all the time in the Victorian days? that's because they couldn't breathe!
Mimitabby, I like you ALOT, not only because you have in my opinon one of the BEST pictures in your avatar ( CAT LOVER HERE) I had 3 we had to adopt out when we were transfered and because of my already high risk pregnancy, which broke my heart........sorry....totally off the subject...
Anywho, I know I feel like I need more breathing room and I'm changing that, bought a larger sports bra today...we'll see how the gal'slike it. If DH still has issues......them are mine and he has to deal, am I right or am I right!!

A good compression bra doesn't make me look manly. It makes me look "athletic".![]()
