Today was supposed to be a 10k race but I didn't really want to dig one up to go out for, so I did a 6-7 mile run at home instead. Not quite pushing as hard as a race, but not really taking it easy either. Tried to keep my HR out of the "red" zone as much as I could. This was the first run I've done all year without the dog (she's away for the weekend with my dad).
I don't have a 10k route planned, nor do I have a 6 or 7 mile route. Instead, I cut off my 4 mile loop toward the end to seamlessly move on to the next loop, so probably 3.5-3.7 miles, plus a 3 mile loop on the end. A little more than 10k. Time was 58 minutes. Holy crap, I just did the math -- between 8:35 and 8:50/mile.![]()
