    The Dreaded Diaper Butt

    What is it?

Is it the way the shorts look on you, or the way they feel?

hehehe i think they feel worse than they look.

Probably both if something really is the wrong fit , but I think it's more important how you feel than how you look. I was trying on knickers yesterday at REI and I must have tried on every brand there... some of the nicest feeling materials against my legs had the worst chamois. Major diaper effect, bunchy in the butt and just not comfortable at all, made me feel like waddling instead of walking. Sometimes it means the shorts are too big and I should try a smaller size, other times it means that chamois just isn't right for my body.

Why can't this be easy? I give the store my measurements and riding style, they replicate me a perfect pair of shorts??

I wondered if it might be a fit issue -- if it might be that the shorts were too big if they bunched and were that uncomfortable.

I fill my shorts out too well. Ahem.
