Here is what Denise predicted for each leg:

And now for my predicted times:

Swim- 1:50- 2:00. Anything slower than that and I may be toast.

    T1 10 minutes

Bike 7-7.5 hours - should be closer to 7.25 (fingers crossed)

    T2 10 minutes

Run: 6-6.5 hours. I'm hoping to be closer to 6, but after the bike all bets will be off.

Her T1 came in at 9:48 - hopefully we'll have an update for the first leg of the bike soon....

Edit - Sorry about the double post - must have been typing at the same time

How's the weather. That's very important now.

Someone go out there and calm the wind.

The winner of IM AZ just came in - he's reporting that the wind was ferocious.

    "It's Windy!"

Those were the two words DH hollered as he rolled by at mile 67 of the IMAZ bike course a couple of hours ago. I kind of figured that out, since I had been watching tumbleweeds tumbling by on the road and I couldn't even stand straight up when I used my binoculars. The only way to use the binoculars was to crouch down. Oh, and there were those giant standing road signs that were getting blown over, too.

I rode one loop of the course yesterday and it's a great ride. But probably not so great in these conditions... At the moment, it's a tailwind on the way out and a massive headwind on the way back. The wind is factoring into the run, too.

    Go, Denise!

They still don't have data for Denise's 2nd leg on the bike.

Here's what I found on Knapplaura tho:

    TOTAL SWIM 2.4 mi. (1:53:19) 2:58/100m place: 2007

    FIRST BIKE SEGMENT @ 37 mi mark 37 mi (2:12:52) 16.71 mph
    SECOND BIKE SEGMENT @ 112 mi mark 83.6 mi (4:17:40) 19.47 mph
    TOTAL BIKE 112 mi. (6:30:32) 17.21 mph place: 1401

    I hope Denise is OK.

    Go Denise Go!!
