So. I already feel better. We're still under clear blue skies and this weekend I really, really punished the little demon that made me feel so bad on Thursday.

Still did not feel overly motivated on Sat, was going to ride long and hard and turned around after 20K. I still had the SPD pedals on that I had put on for winter (so my shoes would work for spinning and the occasional outdoors ride) and they really started hurting me. They have zero float and were not in the right position. Off to the LBS to have Look pedals re-attached.

    So today.
First off, I had not *planned* for any of the sequels.
Running 45 min in the forest. I hooked up on the trail with a guy (my speed but I was breathing easier )who later left me at some fork, but we ended up back at the starting poing and chatted. Heck, I got chatted up by a guy. He was probably 10 years older than I but not too mean looking for that. He was looking for a running partner and I had not the heart to tell him I am taken. So I just suggested we might see each other around on a Sunday morning.

Back home, some eats, and the itch to bike in this wonderful weather, shiny new Look cleats and newly installed summer pedals. I went up my favorite hill and beat the crap out of that little demon. No, I was not fast, but I did 4, 5 nasty hills and 40K. Saw loads of triathletes with chiseled calf muscles. That's because I saw them all from behind *tiny waaaaaah*

Back home for coffee&pie with a friend and after 2-3 hours, I went home to do some chores and then to complete this reverse triple day by hitting the pool for some drill work. I could tell I was exhausted because I could only do a 50m lane at a time, but with Friday's lesson repeated, my minimum stroke count was down to 38. Yay. It's got to do with front quadrant swimming and floating, especially on the breathing strokes.

Now dinner and up until midnight to at least see how Denise's bike split ends.

It's a little secret you didn't know about us women. We're all closet Visigoths.
