SmilingCat and Teigyr for the info. I would be alone and I would have plenty of water. I am a big water drinker. I have two bottles on the bike and a camelpak on my back. I do ride pv some, I did Del Corte (do you know that hill ) to Marina Del Rey and back last Sat. 60+ miles. I haven’t gone over Hawthorne or PV dr E yet. But I will. I think if I don't find a riding group up there in Yucaipa (actually Pilgrim Pines), I will just go for a long hike. It's so beautiful there.
Teigyr I’ll check for any cycling clubs too, because I really don’t want to ride alone.
