Hey! I'm having one of those mornings when I can't stop eating! 3 pieces of chocolate (dark, sweetened with beet sugar, and with a touch of mint) and I'm worried I won't stop today! It's not even 10:30 am yet!!
Ack!!
I guess I should have more water!

Have you tried the new cereals with choc.? I know one is Special K and I think the other is a Chex. I haven't tried it, I'm not a big choc fan.
How big? 7 1/2 pieces would be 220 calories.
Shortly after my first post I stopped, by lunch time I actually didn't feel like eating, but ate my home made special rice noodle spaghetti with meat sauce. I did pretty well in the afternoon, too. I just started on the chocolate again, time to take evasive action again. This is good healthy chocolate, but too much of any good thing is still too much.![]()
Breakfast was my usual rice krispies (closer to fitting my naturopathic prescribed diet than special K, believe it or not....) with a sliced banana, a serving of fresh blueberries and goat milk. And a cup of Tazo Lemon Mate tea. Hmmm, I haven't had that tea with breakfast before, maybe that was it? I think I was just bored at work. I do that - munch on whatever I have when I'm bored at my desk. I'm just starting to reintroduce raw vegetables. I hope that works well as I'd rather munch on those than chocolate! (not that I don't enjoy the choc!)
heehee

hey LBTC! I know what your going through. I usually don't eat a lot of sweets, maybe a small piece of chocolate after dinner but that's it. But with losing the job and trying to find a new one, finals papers that need to be written, and whatever else life has thrown at me, my chocolate craving has increased, A LOT! So, today, I had it. I never ever eat like this but I did today: Giant black bean burger with fries
and more than a few pieces of chocolate
(along with my veggies and fruit and other good foods). It's ok to eat like that every once in a while (not all of the time or consistently). sometimes when I get a serious craving that I resist and doesn't go away for days, even weeks, I eat enough for taste.
It's ok, just make sure that you keep the good foods more often and consistently.
