Let's see... I took the dog on 3 or 4 mile runs Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Wednesday we (been running with the dog every day) did a slightly different and more varying route, but I think it was a little shorter. Wednesday night I did super kickboxing thingy at the gym, so today I did yoga to stretch out me muscles.

Back on the HM plan now, for my May 27th HM (and May 6th 12k). I've been swamped at work lately and just trying to get on a schedule, now I finally feel like I can.

Hoping to get my husband on his bike soon, too... while I'll be focused on the HM, I have a couple of easier days that would be good for cross training (which would mean an easy run and ride to work, or a longer ride and to work). I'd take two commute days over none! (He's being stubborn, he likes to store nuts for the winter and hates coming out of it.)

    36m 30s
    3.50 miles
    10m 26s /mile

    Mile 1- 11:30 minutes
    Mile 2- 10:00 minutes
    Mile.50- 11:00 minute mile
    Mile .75- 9:30 minute mile

Total Miles: 3.50. Was suppose to run 4.00 miles, but the gym closed at 8:00 PM, and I got on a treadmill at 7:10 PM.

My lower legs hurt so bad. I don't know how I will run another 3 miles tomorrow. I really think back to back days running is not good for me.

Today was supposed to be a 10k race but I didn't really want to dig one up to go out for, so I did a 6-7 mile run at home instead. Not quite pushing as hard as a race, but not really taking it easy either. Tried to keep my HR out of the "red" zone as much as I could. This was the first run I've done all year without the dog (she's away for the weekend with my dad).

I don't have a 10k route planned, nor do I have a 6 or 7 mile route. Instead, I cut off my 4 mile loop toward the end to seamlessly move on to the next loop, so probably 3.5-3.7 miles, plus a 3 mile loop on the end. A little more than 10k. Time was 58 minutes. Holy crap, I just did the math -- between 8:35 and 8:50/mile.
